Setting favorites for commonly used CRM entities

November 14, 2009

Commonly used CRM entities can be dragged into your Outlook Favorites area.  This means that you can spend less time scrolling up and down through different folders and more time being productive.

It’s time to start putting your contacts, opportunities, and secrets into Microsoft Dynamics CRM.  It’s actually a lot easier than you might think…because everything important will be just a single click away.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Locate your favorite CRM entity, like Contacts or Opportunities. You’ll find the entities hidden in an area marked Microsoft Dynamics CRM under your Inbox in the Mail section of Outlook.
  2. Drag any CRM entity, such as Contacts, up into the Favorites section of Outlook.

Tips & Tricks

  • Anything added to your Favorites section in Outlook will only affect you.  Other network users have their own Favorites.
